Travellers intending to work, study or reside in Uganda may need a work permit, student pass, dependant pass or residence facility instead of a tourist visa.
Uganda Tourist Visa
The Uganda Tourist Visa is a single-entry visa commonly used for tourism, family visits, business meetings and certain medical visits.
The official government fee is USD 50. Government fees are separate from any document-handling or assistance fees charged by Uganda Visa Agency.
East African Tourist Visa
The East African Tourist Visa allows tourism travel between Uganda, Kenya and Rwanda. It is generally valid for 90 days and permits multiple entries between these three countries.
The country issuing the visa should be your first point of entry. If you apply through Uganda, Uganda should be the first participating country you enter.
The official government fee is USD 100.
Transit and Multiple-Entry Visas
A transit visa is intended for travellers passing through Uganda to another country. Evidence of onward travel may be required.
A multiple-entry visa is intended for qualifying travellers who need to visit Uganda repeatedly. Applicants may need to explain the reason for frequent travel and provide additional supporting documents.

Pay the Official Government Fee

Save Your Application Number
Keep your application ID and payment confirmation. You may need them to track the application or provide additional information.
Receive the Decision
The application is reviewed by an immigration officer. If approved, the travel-authorisation letter is normally sent electronically.
Download the letter, confirm that the information is correct and travel with a printed copy and the passport used during the application.
